LIVING IN PROPHETIC TIMES: PART THREE #2

While the Elite Are Planning the Great Reset, You Can Take Comfort in This Biblical Truth

As I (Rev. Jessip) sought the Lord about what to tell you about these troubling developments, the Holy Spirit led me to Isaiah 22:22. It says: “I will place on his shoulder the key to the house of David; what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open” (NIV).

The apostle John quotes this verse in Revelation 3:7 regarding Jesus’ message to the church in Philadelphia in modern-day Turkey.

“To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.”

While the elite are planning the “Great Reset,” we know from Scripture that this short-lived Antichrist kingdom will only last seven years, and then Christ will return to defeat the powers of darkness before establishing His Messianic kingdom in which “the government will be on his shoulders.”

Isaiah 9:6 says: “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

The house of David was constructed on Mount Zion during the time of King David. The key to the house involved both spiritual and civil authority. At the time, keys were often hung on wooden pegs on walls in secure locations.

Isaiah 22:20-25 says the key was given to finance minister Eliakim, son of Hilkiah, signifying the trust placed in him. In Hebrew, Eliakim means, “resurrection of God,” so it is a picture of the Messiah. Isaiah 22:21 (KJV) says Eliakim wore a special robe and belt and that the key to the house of David lay on his shoulder and that he “shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.”

In Revelation 1:13 (NKJV) we see that Jesus is clothed in a similar special garment and girded about the chest with a “golden band.” In Isaiah 9:7 we read that “of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice.”

This is a prophecy of the reestablishment of the Davidic Throne following Christ’s return during His millennial reign from Jerusalem. It is based upon the Davidic covenant in 2 Samuel 7:11-16 and 1 Chronicles 17:10-14 that says a descendant of David, the Messiah, will build God’s temple, the millennial temple, and His throne will be established forever.

So, Isaiah 22:22 is a prophecy that the Father has given Christ the key to the house of David, signifying both civil and spiritual authority, and a global government of peace, righteousness and justice will rest upon His shoulders.

The return of the Messiah will usher in His government in the Messianic Age, involving Israel’s regeneration and regathering, her possession of the land promised in the Bible and the reestablishment of the Davidic throne—all connected to biblical covenants God made with Israel thousands of years ago.

Jesus will rule and reign the world from Mount Zion, with the key to the house of David on His shoulders. This is what is coming. When Christ returns, He will rule as King of kings and Lord of lords, He will be the judge of the world, and the Antichrist, false prophet and powers of darkness who sought to usurp His power will be cast into the lake of fire.

Worthy to Stand Before the Son of Man

As we watch the rollout of the “Great Reset,” we must tell people that Jesus is returning, that the Book of Revelation describes a series of catastrophic judgments during the seven-year tribulation period, and that Jesus told us in Luke 21:36 (NIV) to watch for signs of His return so we can “escape all that is about to happen.”

In this verse, Jesus said: “Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”

In the parable of the ten virgins in Matthew 25:1-13, we learn an important lesson about righteous living and obedience to God in these end times. In the parable, Jesus compared the kingdom of heaven to 10 virgins, five foolish and five wise, who took their lamps to meet the bridegroom. The foolish ones did not bring any oil, but the wise ones took oil in jars along with their lamps. When the bridegroom finally arrived, the foolish ones asked the wise ones for oil, but they refused, and so the foolish virgins did not make it to the wedding banquet on time.

“Later the [foolish virgins] also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’ But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’ Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour” (Matt. 25:11-13).

It is comforting to know that today Jesus is interceding with the Father in heaven for us, and He is completing the “good work” that He began in us to carry “on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (Phil. 1:6).

He is sending angels to fight on our behalf, and so we are beginning to see the unleashing of the angelic armies of heaven and the manifest presence of the Holy Spirit like never before, with supernatural visitations occurring around the world.

God is releasing His angelic armies to do supernatural things in the lives of believers who will place their trust in Him for protection and provision as persecution increases and the cancel culture seeks to silence and censor us.

We are entering a time when angels are being released to fight on behalf of the saints who are working to bring in what Regeneration Nashville Pastor Kent Christmas described at The Renewal: Restoring America’s Founding Covenant as the “final harvest.”

The Renewal was the next biblical step after The Return: National and Global Day of Prayer and Repentance, which took place Sept. 26, 2020, on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. About 250,000 people showed up and 42 million watched the event on television or via simulcast. It was the first day of national repentance in America since the time of Abraham Lincoln. We are now planning several more events as this global repentance and revival movement grows, culminating with The Return Israel in Jerusalem.

Today, millions of souls are hanging in the balance, and it is our job as believers, as Jesus instructed us 2,000 years ago, to “go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation” (Mark 16:15).

Amid the battle for souls, we can take comfort, knowing that we can run to a place of refuge, the cleft of the rock where God hid Moses (Exod. 33:22), showing him the revelation of His Son, the Messiah. For us, that cleft of the rock is the bosom of Jesus our Lord.

So, as we abide in Him, He abides in us, and whatever we ask within His will we are assured that He will do.

These are supernatural and miraculous days, and for those who are living in and through the Holy Spirit, rest assured that you will witness the supernatural hand of God as we approach His glorious return and the hope of the Messianic Age.
